D’Addario & Company is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of musical instrument accessories, trusted by musicians globally for its strings, drumheads, reeds, and performance accessories. As part of its expansion strategy in Asia, D’Addario sought to strengthen its regional digital presence and build meaningful connections with musicians across diverse Asian markets.
To support this objective, D’Addario required a social media strategy capable of establishing a strong foundation for its regional social media channels while maintaining consistency with its global brand identity. Plexxie was appointed as the first and only social media marketing agency to spearhead the brand’s social media growth and audience development across Asia.
OUR SOLUTION
Plexxie developed a regional social media strategy focused on audience growth, artist collaborations, influencer marketing, and content creation. Our objective was to establish a strong and consistent brand presence while building engaged communities of musicians throughout Asia.
A key component of the strategy involved collaborating with musicians, artists, and content creators across Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, Malaysia, and Singapore. We provided creative direction to artists, coordinated content production, and refined user-generated content to ensure all deliverables aligned with D’Addario’s global brand guidelines and visual standards.
To maximise reach and engagement, we combined artist-led content with videography, social media advertising, influencer marketing, and artist management initiatives. Country-specific advertising campaigns were launched across key Asian markets, allowing D’Addario to effectively engage musicians within each target audience segment while maintaining a consistent regional presence. Throughout the engagement, Plexxie managed and optimised a six-figure advertising budget across multiple countries, driving large-scale awareness and audience growth while ensuring alignment with D’Addario’s global marketing objectives.
